Oh my gosh! These photos are nuts! A local photographer has captured insane shots of a BLUE jellyfish known as Velella velella.

The species is commonly known as By-the-Wind Sailor and has a peculiar shape featuring a blue base with tentacles and a transparent triangular head.

We’ve come across other jellies that have washed up on Maltese shores over the years, particularly in summer, but these are just something else!
