1. Domenican Convent, Birgu
The Domenican Convent in Birgu is quite the grand one. And, the faithful are proud of this convent, which is dedicated to St Dominic. So, during your next visit to Birgu, make sure to spot this one out!

2. Cappuchine’s Convent, Kalkara
The Cappuchine’s Convent in Kalkara is another one to take a peek at. There’s a beautiful statue of Our Lady of Lourdes for devotion right by the church.

3. St Dominic’s Priory, Rabat
St Dominic’s Priory began to be built in 1457, and during the beginning of the 16th century, the Ottomans seized it and used it as a fortified point to attack Mdina. And yes, this doubled up as the Red Keep in the hit TV series Game of Thrones.

4. St Peter’s Monastery, Mdina
It is believed that this monastery in the Silent City’s main street is the oldest nuns’ institution on the island, having been possibly established between 1418 and 1430.

5. St Augustine’s Convent, Valletta
The foundation stone of St Augustine’s church, sacristy, oratory and convent was laid in 1571. The current religious buildings stretch across a number of streets in the capital, possibly making it one of the largest on the island.

6. Christ the King, Birkirkara
Christ the King convent in Birkirkara is one the outskirts of the town and is possibly one of the more modern convents. Take a trip here, and try some volunteering!

7. Archbishop Seminary, Rabat
The Archbishop Seminary is a must-see spot. Situated in the quiet area of Tal-Virtu in Rabat, the seminary is definitely one to take a peek at!
