Gozo was on a religious trail mission which has now been completed! In fact, it was announced that through the help of European funds, a total of 15 cultural projects in Gozo have been restored. The establishment of a heritage trail for religious tourism was also announced, which will give the public the opportunity to enjoy these projects.

These 15 projects included the restoration of facades and bell towers of churches, bell towers, ceiling paintings and domes, the regeneration of museums and oratories and the restoration of organs, amongst others. The last part of the project included the first heritage trail of religious tourism in Gozo, which will also be advertised abroad.

Further investments to support cultural heritage are also in the pipeline to further develop our country's national assets in supporting business development and strengthening the tourism industry which is one of the main drivers of the Maltese economy.
