Are you bored of the usual dinner wearing funny hats, penis-shaped balloons and hens party games from the internet? Have you ever been to a hens party where everyone looks like they're pretending to have a good time because they love the bride-to-be, but it’s all a little lame? Sure, you had a good laugh and screamed a little when the stripper showed up, but all in all, it was nothing hugely memorable.

A hens party should be memorable though, right? It's the last official night out with the girls as a single(ish) lady. (Even if the bride-to-be has been engaged for two years and with her guy for seven, you know what I mean!) Here are some fun things to do for a hen’s gathering in Malta that won’t break the bank, but will be remembered as as a fantastic time with the girls!

This can take so many shapes and forms! From afternoon tea in a palazzo’s drawing room or sweet cafe to a private room in a club complete with male strippers (should you be so inclined!) the possibilities are endless. 

Limo or party bus

Take it a step further - why stay in one place when you can be on the move? Rent a limo or party bus and make it your hens den for the night. Hop around from party to party, and party a little more on the way too!

With so much beautiful water surrounding the islands, it would be rude not to! You can take this as far as you want: hire a luzzu for a few close girlfriends, organise a dance party on a boat or charter a mast ship or a luxury yacht for a gathering in style.

One thing the girls will surely remember is a day at the spa, where you gossiped your hearts out while having your nails done and sipped bubbly in the hot tub. A number of spas around the island can organise private facilities for pamper parties so no-one else gets in the way.

Do something completely different, like a day of zip-lining with the girls. There are loads of activities you can do, from pottery to pole dancing, and bowling to archery - it all depends on what the bride and her mates can enjoy together.
