10 wild stages of an epic summer night out in Malta
Accurate AF.

Us Maltese are known to be quite the party-goers, especially during the summer months. There’s some kind of event involving booze every other day in different locations around the island, and if not, there’s always Paceville to head to. But what does an epic summer night out in Malta look like? Even though Covid has pressed paused on our wild summer nights, every Maltese party-goer knows these stages all too well!

1. Pre-drinks #Obvs.

Before you even head to the party or bar, it’s pre-drinks at someone’s place. You’ll get all boozied up here, especially if your friends are mad enough to create a concoction of alcohol to ensure a drunk night out!

2. Stuffing your face with food

Fill your belly with snacks and fast food, because it’s going to be a long and wild night. And, you don’t want to leave your party destination because your tummy is grumbling.

3. Partying like it’s hot

The trick to partying in Malta is a stylish outfit, and more importantly, comfy shoes. You’ll be dancing the night away to all the classics, throwbacks and hottest tunes of the summer, so make sure your toes are happy!

4. Checking on friends

As the night progresses, friends drift off with their prey, but you’ve still got to stick together. So, check up on your fellow drunkards to make sure no one is making any mistakes they’ll possibly regret the morning after…

5. Party some more, and before you know it, it’s 4am

Ok, everyone’s grand so you all party some more. You’re raising the roof, headbanging to all your favourite tunes and, before you know it, oops, it’s 4am!

6. Music turns off and the lights go up in the club

You’re partying so hard, the hours go by and then boom, the DJ calls it a night and the lights go up in the club...but you’re still vibing!

7. The bar owner politely asks you to leave

It’s getting late, the bartenders are fed up of your drunk shenanigans, and the bar owner is exhausted and wants you to leave, so he politely asks you to get the heck out.

8. You decide to hit a drive through with your mates

The clubs are slowly closing and now your tummy is rumbling, but you also kind of want to make your way home. So a chill pit stop to the nearest drive through, it is!

9. Watch the sunrise

You know it was an absolutely wicked night when you’re eating a box (or four) of chicken nuggets with your best buds in the car and the sun is slowly rising in the distance. Best. Feeling. Ever. #IfYouKnowYouKnow

10. Walk of shame into the house

Ok, it’s time to call it a night (or early morning anyway), so you drive yourself home (or catch a cab if you’re not up for it). You get to your street, and out comes your neighbour to walk the dog and you both make the awkward eye contact and he waves at you. Yikes...

Have you had an epic night out like this?
