1. Palazzo Preca

Located in the historic Strait Street in Valletta, Palazzo Preca is adamant about giving its diners the full experience, from exquisite table setting and service to delicious food, wine and of course, desserts. If you’re looking for a super spot for a special meal with a sweet end, Palazzo Preca is high on the list, with signature family recipes such as classic sherry trifle, baked cassata and chocolate brownies as stars of the show.

2. Becky’s Kitchen

This newly opened kitchen-cafe in Naxxar is one to try if you're looking to indulge in something heavenly! Becky's Cafe and Kitchen is big on creative ideas, with a genius kitchen crew who don't hold back on interesting ingredients nor portions. Some of their new innovations include the Stripper Pancake, the Duplo Waffles from the Cafe and just wait until they announce the specials for Christmas... we're told it'll be a colossal beast worth every calorie.

3. Caffe Cordina 

If you haven't yet visited, you must definitely know about the classic Caffe Cordina on Republic Street, Valletta - a local favourite, and for good reason! Cordina, as it is commonly known by locals, is dead set on delivering staple desserts to pair with your afternoon espresso. Try the deconstructed black forest tart filled with a chocolate sponge, black cherry and kirsch filling, or the beautifully glazed fruit tart filled with custard and fresh seasonal fruit when you’re next in the capital.

4. Delizie Siciliane

If you’re passing through Sliema and need a pick me up, a sweet booster in the morning or even an after work treat, Delizie Siciliane should be your next stop. Why not start your morning with a freshly baked wholemeal croissant? Or check out the pistachio cannolli if you’re in the mood for something mouthwateringly delicious. 5. Fre{n}sh

Apart from their beautiful tarts, Balluta bound Fre{n}sh offer a super selection of sweet bakes. Their buttery croissants, devilishly moreish eclairs and insane tarts topped with chocolate, caramel, fresh fruit and other godly ingredients are simply to die for. 6. The Cake Box

With a name like this, who'd ever doubt the #cakegoals factor of this place? The Cake Box has a number of locations including one bang in the centre of Mosta - a stone’s throw away from the famous dome - and others in Qormi, St Julian's and Paceville. Everything here is is made in-house and freshly baked daily, from their savoury lunchtime options to a superb selection of goodies to hit that sweet tooth. Stepping into this café is dream, with beautifully decorated cupcakes, personalised cakes, specialities like bubble waffles and seasonal desserts to make the most of every visit.

Freshly flipped crêpe? Check. Light and fluffy batter? Check. Filling of your choice? Check. Happy, smiley customer? Check. Oh me, oh my, who doesn’t love a good crêpe? If you’re in Sliema, Bugibba, PAMA in Mosta or the University of Malta, you’re in for a treat. The sweet options at Krepree are lick-your-lips awesome.
