Wine under the stars: this weekend Marsovin showcases its distinctive vintages in a sea of vineyards
Marsovin’s Ramla Valley Estate in Gozo will play host to music, food and, of course, vino!
Walk up from the ochre-coloured beach of Ramla Bay in Gozo and you will find yourself in an amphitheatre of vines: Marsovin’s Ramla Valley Estate, whose green rows are one of the island’s prime producers of pristine Chardonnay. And, this weekend, the winery is lifting the curtain on the vineyard to celebrate this year’s harvest, showcasing two of its premium wines - the Antonin Blanc and the Blanc de Cheval – as well as other of Marsovin's stellar bottles in an evening of music, food and fresh whites, aptly named Antonin Under The Stars.

The estate boasts a spread of over 38 tumoli of land, nestled amidst the verdant hills of this small Mediterranean island – a landscape which, this Friday and Saturday, will be accompanied by a feast for the senses. The full-bodied Antonin Blanc, possessing the aroma of sweet vanilla, and the zesty Blanc de Cheval, whose fruity finish might need an encore, will be served throughout the evening (and you get to keep the glass!) while succulent and delectable offerings will be on sale from Orange Miles, a popular food truck cooking up some fan favourites.

But, the tight aroma of savouries and plummy wine will not be the only things wafting through the air: music from The Travellers is set to entertain on both nights. To crown this intimate viticulture experience, ticket-holders will also be able to learn more about the winemaking at the estate with guided tours held by Marsovin’s in-house wine specialist and tastings taking place throughout the night.
