Winds gets stronger as Malta’s International Airport meteorological office issues yellow warning

As the wind force keeps getting stronger and more powerful, Malta’s International Airport meteorological office has issued a yellow warning.

“The East-Northeast wind will be strong over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands”, the warning read.

For now, it will be valid till 6pm of today, 25th May 2023.

The wind is expected to subdue, averaging at a steady Force two to three for the rest of the weekend.

Nonetheless, the skies are still predicted to be partly cloudy for Friday and Saturday but mainly sunny for Sunday.
