Public holidays on the Maltese Islands are simply made for taking it easy and making the most of the time with family and friends, and what better place to do that than in nature? Vincent's Eco-Farm in Mgarr is opening up its mini forest area to the public, featuring educational stands, free tastings, healthy raw vegan desserts and delicious food, organic drinks and Tarot Card reading.

For the love of the bard:

The classic tale performed with a twist! The Pub in Valletta may be famous for being the last place Oliver Reed enjoyed a drink, but this week there’s a bit more love and laughter in store. Starring Joseph Zammit, Tina Rizzo, and Nathan Brimmer and directed by Philip Leone-Ganado, Much Ado About Nothing at The Pub promises to be an evening which is also not so easily forgotten!

For dog lovers:

2nd May: 7:30pm – Screening of Isle of Dogs – Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta.

2018 stop-motion animated comedy film written, produced and directed by Wes Anderson Isle of Dogs will be showing at Spazju Kreattiv on a few nights over the coming weeks, starting this Wednesday. Set in a dystopian near-future Japan, the film follows a 12-year-old boy, Atari, as he sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. And, erm, did we mention it’s by Wes Anderson?

(Thank you) for the music:
