Feel the love of Gozo!:
Saturday, 19th May from 9am – 5pm: Open day - Gozo museums & sites – Gozo & all weekend: Gozo Alive! - various locations around Gozo.

Pete Bullen - www.viewingmalta.com
Gozo is chock full of places which tell the history of these islands. From the megalithic temples of Ggantija, one of the oldest free-standing structures in the world (even older than the pyramids), to the Citadel and the Old Prison in the capital Victoria, there’s so much to see and do, it’s difficult to pack it all in just one day. But, you might just have to this weekend! Heritage Malta is opening the sites for free, so you better get your skates on! And that's not all there is to do this weekend on Malta's sister isle. Gozo Alive - a programme of activities designed to enthrall and entertain will be kicking off tomorrow, and will last all weekend.
Feel for others:
Sunday 20th May from 10am: The Charity Ride - R.R.M.C Clubhouse, Pembroke.

Support a cause this weekend and head out – if you are a biker – on this charity ride in aide of the motorcycle association AU4MC, which comes to the aid of fallen riders. You can also help out even if you don’t ride. Rebel Riders MC, the organisers of the event and Malta’s oldest motorcycle club, are organising a party at their club house in Pembroke with live music, a cocktail bar and lots of other entertainment.

Saturday, 19th May from 8pm: MPO Eurotour - Malta concert - Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.

MPO/Facebook
The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, a piece very much loved by the artist, but which had initially received a lukewarm reaction from audiences of the day. This four-movement cyclical symphony possesses a recurring main theme which evokes the idea of fate, and it is no surprise that it has grown tremendously in stature since it was first premiered. In this same concert, the MPO will also be joined by Armenian musician, Nareh Arghamanyan, for a performance of Alexey Shor's 'Travel Notebook' piano concerto, inspired by the composer's travels.
