What’s going on? San Gwann residents are currently not receiving post
It seems COVID has a part to play in all this...

Residents in San Gwann are currently not receiving their post, and have not seen letters in their letterboxes for the past few days.

According to information obtained by Gwida.mt, residents reached out to MaltaPost to get to the bottom of this. It seems that there is a case of COVID-19 and as a result, the distributers are in quarantine. The team’s health and that of the residents comes first and foremost, so the post office didn’t want to risk infection.

Update: A MaltaPost representative has shared with Gwida.mt that there are indeed some employees in quarantine and are currently experiencing some difficulties distributing all the post from the San Gwann Hub. The representative also confirmed that the situation should begin to return to normal this coming Friday.

If you’re a San Gwann resident or know someone who lives there, let them know!
