The beautiful new store will celebrate its official opening with a launch party tonight.

Max Mara

Fashion fans will rejoice at the news of a new Weekend Max Mara store opening in Malta’s capital, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store (erm, literally!)

Exquisite design

Max Mara

Located at 293 Republic Street, the beautiful new space spans two floors, and boasts a cosy and welcoming atmosphere where customers can really feel at home. This is created thanks to a mix of decorative elements, antique pictures, wallpaper and the use of cementine – a typical Italian flooring.

The design of the store is flawless, with furniture inspired by Italian and European design history which has been re-imagined in a contemporary way, creating a unique atmosphere. The chosen materials also pay homage to the artisanal tradition: timeless, natural and authentic, as well as a neutral colour palette made up of delicate hues, which perfectly match the shades of the collection.

The new collection

Max Mara

For Spring Summer 2019, Weekend Max Mara will launch a new Signature Collection titled Nantucket, created in collaboration with American interior designer Anthony Baratta. The 12-piece offering finds inspiration in the famous summertime retreat in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. An easy-going collection of dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts and accessories conjure up endless summer days on the historic island enclave known for its scenic harbour, charming shingle style homes and poetic gardens. We can’t wait to check it out!

Tonight, a vibrant gathering of local VIPs, influencers, media and clients will celebrate the new Weekend Max Mara store. We’ll be there too, so check out our stories on @guidememalta for a sneak peek of what’s happening!
