He discusses this and much more in WhosWho.mt’s live The Boardroom sessions.
Malta International Airport’s CEO Alan Borg is currently live on WhosWho.mt’s The Boardroom sessions discussing the airport’s situation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is particularly discussing the possibility of the airport reopening come September.
He notes that the airport isn't the body to decide. "I would be speculating," Mr Borg says on the date of reopening, noting that the best thing the airport can do is be prepared for travel, when the time comes.
This comes after the travel ban that was issued last month will see flights suspended until the end of May. This was issued in a notice by Prof. Charmaine Gauci to pilots.
The Boardroom sessions are being brought live on WhosWho.mt, presented by business writer Jo Caruana who chats to some of Malta's business minds who share how they are coping with the COVID-19 situation and securing a future for their teams and clients.
