Prof. Charmaine Gauci confirmed this in a notice to pilots
Apart from cargo, ferry, humanitarian and repatriation flights, all other flights are to remain suspended till end of May, Superintendent of Public Health Prof. Charmaine Gauci said in a notice to pilots.
Flights in Malta have been temporarily suspended since 21st March and the ban has now been extended.
This does not confirm that normal flights will resume from the 1st of June as the ban may yet again be re-extended depending on the COVID-19 situation in Malta, and abroad.
Earlier this week, Economy Minister Silvio Schembri reportedly said Malta's International Airport will be one of the last places to reopen post-COVID-19.
