WATCH: Gozo Channel resumes service via Comino route due to strong winds
Delays are expected

Sarah Micallef

Gozo Channel Operations Limited earlier announced that ferry service to and from Gozo had been temporarily suspended due to bad weather. In a recent update, the ferry operator revealed that service has resumed via the Comino route, and delays are expected.

According to Malta Weather, this week will see temperatures feeling as low as 6°C, as well as strong winds penetrate the central Mediterranean. Yesterday, the weather page shared this video of the Gozo ferry being battled by waves as it made the crossing – so let’s just say we’re not surprised that the company is being cautious.

Stay safe out there guys, it’ll calm down soon!
