The area is mostly only known to Zurrieq natives.

In one of his latest vlogs, Pierre Farrugia took his followers on an exciting adventure as he made his way exploring the area locally known as il-Blieqa in Zurrieq.

He started of from Il-Gibjun garden from where he could see the beautiful islet of Filfla before he started going down the hill.

On his way there he passed by a huge quarry and although a quarry is solely used as a means to cut rocks for building, one cannot help but admire the beauty within its grandiosity.

Eventually the road came to end, and he had to go walking right on the edge of the cliff.

After exploring around for a bit, he could not seem to find the way down to il-Blieqa as there is no easy and clear path to follow.

Eventually he did manage to find some steps carved into the rock which he could follow before he finally managed to arrive to the stunning area known as il-Blieqa.

Navigation might have been hard but it sure was worth it for the views Pierre got to enjoy.

The area is surrounded by sheer cliffs and beautiful sea. One can even find a small pond, but filled with sea water instead!

Il-Blieqa is also a playground for wall climbers as the surrounding rugged cliffs are the ideal spot for rock climbers to practise their hobby.
