WATCH: Experience Marsaxlokk’s beauty with a hike down the Delimara trail
From a lighthouse to salt pans, this trail has it all.

In his latest vlog, adventurer Pierre Farrugia took his followers on a hike along the Delimara trail.

Pierre started his journey from the enormous Delimara fortress, built by the British in 1881. In recent years the venue was shut, and thus Pierre couldn’t show us much of the historical building.

Along the trail one can even spot a lighthouse which, oddly enough, can be rented. What a unique weekend break that would be!

Throughout the video, numerous salt pans can be seen along the coast. Pierre reminded viewers to refrain from having BBQs in the area as these could damage the salt pans and their surrounding environment.

Well into his hike, Pierre reached Kalanka – a popular rocky beach that’s full to the brim with bathers in the summer months.

Nearby, one can even spot St Peter’s Pool, which has gone viral a couple of times thanks to videos of Titti the Diving Dog.

Have you ever been hiking along this trail?
