Vegan pastizzi?! Malta’s VeganFest returns to Ta’ Qali for the first weekend of May
Following the huge success of its first edition last year, VeganFest Malta is back – and it’s bringing an even bigger celebration of plant-based living, wellness, and family-friendly fun to Ta’ Qali this weekend!
Taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May, between 11AM and 7PM, this year’s festival promises something for everyone – whether you're vegan, veg-curious, or simply up for enjoying the gorgeous weather outdoors.
Step into the Wellness Area, where a full schedule of rejuvenating sessions awaits. The space is hosted by Carolina, founder of The Emotions Lab Malta, a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Sound Healing Therapist. Expect powerful emotional release sessions, guided relaxation, and holistic workshops that aim to reconnect body and mind.
The festival’s Chill Out Area will be filled with easy-going tunes from local favourites including Lyndsay Pace and The Alchemists. Soak in the atmosphere, grab a refreshing drink, and enjoy the feel-good energy all around.
Families are in for a treat at the Kids Area, with non-stop entertainment including giant games, crafts, face painting, circus juggling, dancing, and more. One of the standout features is the Kids4Kids Market, where young creatives can trade or sell their handmade goodies – a wonderful way for children to explore entrepreneurship and self-expression.
Foodies, take note – there will be no shortage of delicious vegan eats! From vegan ricotta pastizzi to international street food and sweet treats, food carts and pop-ups will be serving plant-based dishes to delight every palate.
Will you be there?
