Rest in peace, Blanche.

Tributes have been shared for Blanche Mamo, a devoted mother, educator and member of the Ibragg Church who suddenly passed away on Easter Sunday.

“With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our dear colleague Blanche Mamo who joined the Risen Lord, early on Easter Sunday morning,” San Anton School wrote on Facebook. “As valued colleague and educator, Ms Blanche will be sorely missed by all the San Anton community. May she be granted eternal rest and may the Lord watch over her family during this very difficult time.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are especially with her daughter Ms Danielle Sapiano, also a San Anton Junior Sector educator. May you kindly keep them in your prayers.”

Blanche’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday 7th April at 9.30am at the Ibragg Parish Church. The service will also be streamed live on the church’s Facebook page.

The Ibragg Parish Church, which Blanche served throughout her life, also shared a tribute on social media. “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Blanche Mamo,” the infographic reads. “Blanche has served the parish for a very long time mostly in passing on the faith of our children through catechism. Let us pray for her and for her family that the Risen Christ may be their refuge and strength during this difficult time.”

Our heartfelt condolences to Blanche Mamo’s family and all those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
