Malta's Airport will be one of the last places to open post-Coronavirus says Economy Minister

Reportedly, in questions during tonight's Parliament meeting, Economy Minister Silvio Schembri shared that Malta's airport will be one of the last places on the island that will open after the COVID-19 pandemic. This is due to the fact that the airport depends on other countries' situations to operate.

He noted that the government will be gradually opening the economy sector once again, warning that it won't be back to normal straight away. He shared that the government will be taking the necessary precautions in this sector to prevent a re-spreading of the virus.
