This Saturday, 23rd March the annual Freedom Day regatta, an event anticipated and attended by many will be taking place at Malta’s Grand Harbour.

However, this means that the schedule of the Gozo Highspeed fast ferry service between Gozo and Valletta will be limited in order not to disrupt this beloved tradition.

The last departure from Valletta on Saturday will be at 9am and the service will resume once again from Malta’s capital city at 6:45pm.

On the other hand, the last departure from Mgarr, Gozo will be at 10am with service resuming at 9:15pm.

Commuters can still cross between the two islands with the Gozo Channel ferry as their timetable will not be disrupted by the regatta.
