As the wind force is highly increasing, the Gozo Highspeed fast ferry, crossing between Valletta, Malta to Mgarr, Gozo has been cancelled indefinitely.

“With immediate effect please be advised that due to high swells in Valletta Harbour the Gozo Fast Ferry Service has been disrupted until further notice”, the company wrote on social media.

The strong wind force is predicted to persist until Friday before it eventually starts to calm down from Sunday onwards.

Nonetheless, even though the Gozo Highspeed fast ferry will highly not work in the coming few days, the Gozo Channel is still expected to operate as usual.
