The collection features bright colours and distinctive Maltese characteristics such as il-qarsu, a yellow wild flower found on the Maltese Islands in spots like Dingli Cliffs, Ghajn Abdul in Xlendi and the fields east of Salib tal-Gholja in Siggiewi.

Charles & Ron always draw inspiration from everything that intrigues them on the Maltese Islands they call home. This particular collection zooms in and out on several aspects of Maltese history and culture, including figurines from the Neolithic temples, graphic prints combined with aerial images, and wild flowers.

It’s not the local fashion designers’ first rodeo, either! Charles and Ron also showcased their work at last year’s New York Fashion Week, where they wowed with their Fabiola collection, one that was inspired by vintage family jewellery pieces.

American singer-songwriter Ashanti was spotted wearing Charles & Ron on the red carpet, also posing for some snaps with the fashion design duo, looking fab in her multi-coloured fur dress.
