Sunshine on our minds! Warm days with a mix of sun and clouds in store for Malta this week
After a weekend that looked and felt like summer, Malta is set to experience a mix of cloudy and sunny weather in the coming days, with temperatures gradually increasing towards the weekend. Summer lovers will be happy to know that the risk of rain is looking like it will remain low throughout the week.
According to Maltese Islands Weather, the week kicks off with cloudy weather and a maximum temperature of 17°C, dropping to 11°C at night for tomorrow, Tuesday 18th March. Winds will shift from the south to east-northeast, with a force of 2/3 to 5/6, creating slight to rough sea conditions.
Midweek brings partly cloudy skies with slightly cooler temperatures, reaching a maximum of 15°C and a minimum of 10°C. Winds will come from the east-northeast to east at a force of 5/6, making the sea rough to moderate.
The weather is set to improve on Thursday 20th March, with mainly sunny conditions and a temperature range of 16°C during the day and 10°C at night. Winds shift to east to east-southeast at a force of 5/6 to 4/5, calming the sea to moderate levels.
Friday 21st March continues the mainly sunny trend, with temperatures rising to 17°C and a low of 12°C at night. Winds pick up slightly, coming from east-southeast to southeast at a force of 4/5 to 6/7, making sea conditions moderate to rough.
Similar to this weekend, Saturday 22nd March marks a rise in temperatures, with a high of 19°C and a nighttime low of 14°C. The weather will be partly cloudy, with winds shifting at force 6/7 to 4/5, leading to rough to moderate sea conditions.
The week concludes with partly cloudy skies and the highest temperatures of the week - 21°C during the day and 14°C at night.
