Gozo's town of Ghajnsielem buzzed with festive excitement yesterday as the highly anticipated Betlehem f’Ghajnsielem opened its doors for its 16th edition. This live nativity village spans a sprawling 20,000 square metres and brings the Nativity story to life with over 100 actors and live animals!
This is also an opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in Maltese traditions, crafts such as lace making or 'bizzilla', and the classic features of a traditional crib, making for quite a unique experience in this festive season.
