Having spent many centuries in Malta, the Knights of St John hold a special connection to the Maltese Islands. They form a huge part of this country’s rich history and culture.

The National Library of Malta is now holding an exhibition by the name of ‘In the Footsteps of the Hospitallers: 900 Years of Chivalry, Faith & Charity’, detailing the history behind this inspiring order.

You can visit the exhibition at the National Library in Valletta.

It will remain open till the 30th March of 2024, so visitors have plenty of time to visit and take in all the exhibition has to offer.

The entrance is completely free and opening times are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm

Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm (Every 3rd Saturday of the month the exhibition opens from 8:30am - 3:30pm)
