‘Sorely missed’ – Adam’s Fish Shop in Mosta closes its doors
Let’s hope Adam’s planning on opening elsewhere…

Adam’s Fish Shop – a beloved institution amongst Maltese fish lovers – has abruptly announced that it is shutting down.

Positioned strategically close to Mosta’s bustling centre, on Constitution Street, Adam’s Fish Shop is known to have housed crowds of customers day in, day out.

The shop took to social media to announce its closure.

“Adam’s Fish Shop at Upper Constitution Street has closed its doors, but Adam, its Founder, is still standing! The legacy continues,” it wrote.

It is, as of yet, unclear whether the establishment will be opening elsewhere.

It’s safe to say that the shop’s loyal clientele was heartbroken to hear this news, as dozens of readers took to the post’s comments section to bid the establishment farewell.

“Wishing you all the best – but this is so sad to hear,” one commenter wrote.

If you’d still like to get a taste of some of Adam’s fishy delights, you can always check out his Gzira outlet ‘The Seafood Market Grill by Adam’, which is both a fish shop and a restaurant.
