Sky-high spirit! This Balzan home just set a national record with Malta’s largest rooftop Christmas light tree
Balzan’s skyline just got a festive upgrade!

Christmas decorations are officially leveling up in Malta, and this time, the record has been set right on someone’s roof!

The Malta Records team recently visited a private residence in Balzan to officially recognise a festive first for the islands: the largest Christmas-tree structure made entirely of lights on the roof of a home.

Standing at a striking 8.7 metres tall and 3.4 metres wide, the illuminated installation transforms the property into a towering beacon of Christmas cheer. The spectacular creation was built and installed by Mr Peter England, earning him a brand-new national record just in time for the holidays.

Visible from afar and radiating pure festive magic, aside from acting as a massive signpost for Santa’s sleigh, this glowing rooftop tree is a reminder of the little (and big!) joys that the festive season can bring, especially when it comes to creativity and a truckload of twinkling lights!

Looks like Santa won’t have trouble finding this house!
