Shuttle buses will work with the ferries arriving at Mġarr Harbour.
Heading to Gozo for Carnival? If it’s your first time, you might not know about the biblical amount of traffic that tends to build up around Ċirkewwa, often even stretching to Mellieħa throughout Friday, and even early on Saturday.
Getting around on Gozo can often be a challenge too, with the hundred-strong crowds that make their way around Gozo during the weekend. So if you’re heading over to the sister island to participate in the traditional revelry with your crew, why not skip the stress and get the bus?
Here’s the public transport schedule for each day of this Carnival weekend – Nadur Carnival takes place on both Friday and Saturday night, so the traffic back to Malta on Sunday is also something you’ll want to avoid.
