Friday 26th December
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Cozy up this festive season with a live twist on a classic! Join at Offbeat for a special evening featuring renditions of Vince Guaraldi’s iconic Christmas soundtrack. Enjoy soulful live performances by Angela Vella Zarb (vocals), Simon Mercieca (piano), Diccon Cooper (bass), and Michael Vella Zarb (drums) while sipping warm wine and soaking up the festive vibes. Mit-Tfal għat-Tfal ta' Puttinu
A family-friendly day packed with fun activities for children, all in support of helping less fortunate kids. Activities include sport fishing lessons (no equipment needed), bouncing castles, snacks and hot drinks, and a horse-mounted section. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
Il-Pantomima Maltija - Alice f’dal-Pajjiż tal-Meravilji (also on the 27th, 28th, 29th & 3rd January 2026)
This Christmas, the Mediterranean Conference Centre transforms into a world of colour, chaos, and classic Maltese humour. Expect hilarious twists, larger-than-life characters, catchy songs, and all the cheeky jokes that make the Maltese panto season a yearly favourite. Perfect for families, kids, and anyone who loves a good laugh, this festive show brings Alice’s iconic adventure to life with a uniquely Maltese sparkle.
BOOZY BINGO presents Snow Day (also on the 27th & 28th December 2025)
Get ready for Malta’s frostiest party this festive season! From 26th to 28th December, Gianpula Main Room transforms into a full-on Snow Day, complete with icy dance floors, outrageous costumes, and festive fun. Dress code is WHITE — whether you channel Après Chic or Olaf from Frozen — and don’t miss out on the crazy prizes and unforgettable vibes.
Wirja ta' Presepji Artistiċi (until 6th January 2026)
Step into the festive spirit with a special exhibition of 21 presepji and dioramas, crafted by 17 different artists, each in their own unique style. The display takes place in a beautiful medieval chapel, one of Malta’s first twelve churches, offering a magical setting for Christmas enthusiasts. Free entry and parking right at the door make it easy to enjoy this must-see festive tradition.
SAINTS & TREES - An Art Exhibition by Miriam Sorrell (until 31st December 2025)
Saints & Trees is a mixed-media art exhibition running from 1st to 31st December 2025 at the Citadel Cultural Centre, Victoria, Gozo. The collection explores the sacred connection between spirituality and nature, bringing together iconic saintly figures and expressive tree landscapes. Through vivid colour and symbolic imagery, the works invite reflection on ecological awareness, spiritual harmony, and the vision of a greener Malta and Gozo.
Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood 2025 (until 30th December 2025)
Gozo’s most electrifying Christmas tradition is back — and this year, it’s louder, wilder and funnier than ever! The beloved Rock ’n’ Roll Panto returns with Robin Hood & the Babes in the Wood, featuring the iconic Edward Mercieca as the show’s fabulously over-the-top Dame. Expect big laughs, bigger guitar riffs, outrageous costumes and a whirlwind story packed with cheeky twists. With a cast of actor-musicians who’ll have you clapping, singing and rocking along, this is panto like you’ve never seen it.

Pudina tal-Milied is back at Liquid! Celebrate the festive season with a killer lineup: Joon (Live), Capitol K (Live), Danjeli & Duncan Mayhem on sax, Alien Montesin, and Acidulant. Dance under the lights with Late Interactive fuq id-dwal and soak up the ultimate Christmas-party vibes between Christmas and New Year.
Come As You Are - Renzo Spiteri
Join in for the 4th edition of ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴀꜱ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʀᴇ, our monthly free-improvisation session open to all who want to explore their creative potential. This month, Offbeat thrilled to welcome Renzo Spiteri, Emmy-nominated composer and improviser, who will perform and guide participants through a collaborative journey of instant composing. Bring your instrument, your curiosity, and get ready to create together!

A Very Improvised Christmas Show
Get ready for a festive dose of chaos and comedy with Two Black Cats Improv! Join them at the Studio Theatre (Manoel Theatre complex) on Sunday 28th December for A Very Improvised Christmas Show — a cosy, spontaneous evening of short-form games and a Christmas-inspired long-form improv story built entirely from audience suggestions. Expect unexpected twists, genuine laughs, and a theatre experience that exists for one night only. Show starts at 6:30 PM, finishes by 8:30 PM. Pay-what-you-can, so bring a little cash to support the troupe!
Blood Donation Event in Selmun
The National Blood Transfusion Service, in collaboration with the Mellieħa Local Council, is hosting a blood donation drive in Selmun on Sunday 28th December, from 8:30am to 1:00pm. A mobile blood donation unit will be stationed near the Family Park, and donors are reminded to bring their Identity Card. This initiative forms part of the national effort to help save lives through voluntary blood donation.

MYO Christmas Concert
Celebrate the festive season with the Malta Youth Orchestra (MYO) in a magical end-of-year concert! Enjoy timeless orchestral favourites, including selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, lively Dvořák dances, Maltese classics by Charles Camilleri, and the charm of Strauss Jr. This concert also marks the official launch of the Junior MYO, celebrating the next generation of young musicians.
Korps Brajd - Pantomima (also on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th January 2026)
Get ready for a hilarious Maltese twist on a beloved tale! Korps Brajd, this year’s Christmas pantomime at the St Aloysius College Theatre, brings comedy, chaos and plenty of cheeky local humour to the stage. Expect larger-than-life characters, quick-fire jokes, colourful costumes and that classic panto magic the whole family loves.
