It turns out that as of tomorrow 25th November, the traffic lights between l-Imdina Road and the Mriehel Bypass – that is, “the last remaining traffic lights of the arterial route between Attard and Mriehel” – will be no more.

Infrastructure Malta warned all driver to “proceed with caution and follow signs to the new temporary lanes towards the bypass and the hairpin turn to Balzan, Attard, and Rabat.”

In the meantime, tunnel excavations for the Mriehel Underpass Project remain in progress.
