The Gozo National New Year’s Eve Celebrations are set to light up Victoria once again, offering a spectacular night of music and festivities organised by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning. Independence Square will bring to the stage some fantastic local talent, ensuring a memorable celebration as 2025 begins.

Headlining the event is one of Malta’s most beloved bands, The Travellers, whose familiar tunes will ring out 2024 with the crowds singing along. Warming up the stage for the main act will be Gozitan artist Jolene Samhan, setting the tone for the night’s celebrations.

As the festivities reach their peak, internationally acclaimed British artist Sonique will take the stage for a special performance. Known for her successful career as a singer, musician, and DJ, Sonique won the Best British Female award at the 2001 Brit Awards, surpassing icons like Dido and Sade. Her chart-topping single 'It Feels So Good' and hits like 'I Put a Spell on You' and 'Sky' have provided her indubitable status as a global star.

The night will be hosted by Clint Bajada and DJ Ryan Spiteri, who will energise the crowd with a mash-up set of 2024’s hottest dance anthems and timeless classics. Special stage effects and a dazzling fireworks display will make for a grand entrance into 2025 for all those present.
