Ready for a magical night beneath the stars? Opera in the Capital returns to Valletta this September

One of Malta’s most beloved cultural events is making its much-anticipated return! Opera in the Capital is back, ready to fill St George’s Square with soaring voices, powerful emotion, and timeless music under the open sky. This event will is set to provide an evening of music that combines opera, film soundtracks, musical theatre, and more.

Set against the backdrop of one of Valletta’s most iconic outdoor locations, starting at 9 PM, Saturday 6th September will see audiences swept away by the talents of Malta’s very own operatic powerhouses: Alan Sciberras and Cliff Zammit Stevens joined by Nadine Axisa who will be making her debut at the event with her captivating vocals, known well in the world of jazz.

The trio will be performing under the expert baton of conductor Ryan Paul Abela, bringing some of opera’s most beloved classics to life.
