Next month will have some of the top local operatic talent coming together for the fourth edition of ‘Opera in the Capital’ at St George’s Square in Valletta, on the 30th of August at 9pm.

This year’s edition will feature tenors Alan Sciberras and Cliff Zammit Stevens, along with soprano Nadia Vella, performing world-renowned arias accompanied by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.

Last year, the event was titled ‘Opera in the Capital: The Three Tenors Concert’ as the two tenors performing this year were joined by Nico Darmanin, thrilling audiences with their stunning performances of opera favourites such as ‘E lucevan le stelle’ and more popular songs such as ‘The Music of the Night’ from the musical ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, and ‘The Prayer’ for which Cliff Zammit Stevens was joined by the talented local singer, Chiara.

Will you be attending this year’s ‘Opera in the Capital’?
