The German-based fashion retailer has a presence in almost 50 countries – and Malta is next on the list
The announcement that globally renowned fashion retailer New Yorker will be opening up shop in Malta caused quite a splash.
And now banners are appearing across the country confirming where its stores will be located.
New Yorker Malta is set to open at Shoreline Mall in Kalkara and St George’s Mall, Malta’s latest shopping district which is set to open its doors in St George’s Bay this year.
From Iceland to Kazakhstan, the German-based business has a presence in almost 50 countries, and Malta is set to be next on its list.
“Malta, this is your moment,” it announced in a recent job ad. “New Yorker is coming — and we’re building the team from the ground up. Fashion, energy, creativity… if that sounds like you, we want you in. Be part of something new. Be part of New Yorker.”
