Monday 10th May: Malta's number of active cases stands at 213 after 11 new cases were recorded

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 11 new cases of COVID-19 after 1,524 swabs were done in the past 24 hours. 

The islands have registered 23 more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 29,828 and the number of active cases to 213. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 30,458 cases and has performed 885,309 swab tests. Thankfully, no deaths were registers which means the islands' death toll remains at 417.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 9th May, 379,951 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 258,766 of these were a first dose while 121,185 people are now fully vaccinated.
