The Maltese and Scottish owned bakery in the heart of Glasgow, ‘Tantrum Doughnuts’ was featured on a very popular Netflix foodie show.

‘Somebody Feed Phil’ is an American Television programme featuring Phil Rosenthal touring the cuisine of the episode's featured city or country.

This time round it was Glasgow’s turn! Thus, they obviously had to head to ‘Tantrum Doughnuts’, a bakery owned by Maltese national, Annika Pullicino and her husband, Iain.

The concept of 'Tantrum Doughnuts' was first born back in 2015 when they started selling out at local markets and festivals. They soon opened the bakery, expanding to three different locations across Glasgow.

“As big fans of @phil.rosenthal we were absolutely buzzing when producers of the show reached out last year, and to see our city centre shop on the small screen this morning is just wild”, they wrote on their social media.

“Proud to be representing Glasgow in the Scotland episode alongside some fabulous homegrown talent!!”, they continued.

Congratulations!
