“Thank you for putting a smile on my son’s face.”

A local mum has shared her gratitude and appreciation towards the newly launching community policing teams for making her son’s day following an accident outside his school.

“My six-year-old son was hit by a car last Friday in Pembroke outside his school on a zebra crossing. This morning in the pouring rain PC Isaac Schembri was at that zebra crossing making sure our children crossed safely,” a photo of her status shared by The Malta Police Force read.

“At 2pm we received a knock on the door with chocolates and biscuits for my son. The kind policeman spoke to him and reassured him that he would help him cross the road once he feels ready to do so.”

“I cannot express how impressed I am at how seriously these fantastic community policemen are about helping us. Thank you once again for putting a smile on my son’s face.”

Massive ups to the Malta Police Force & PC Isaac Schembri!
