Victor had been acting since 1945.
The death of the local actor Victor Grech has just been announced. Victor passed away at 96.
He is best known for his mesmerising role as Sander in the nation-wide beloved ‘Ipokriti’ that was broadcast during the 1990s on TVM.
Victor also starred in many other Maltese series including ‘F’Bahar Wiehed’, ‘Kristu Fl-Izbarra’ and ‘Dejjem Tieghek’, amongst other.
He started acting right after World War II ended, after starring in his first play in 1945.
The actor has also made numerous appearances in Hollywood movies that were filmed in Malta.
Victor married the love of his life and fellow actress Mary Grech in 1961. The two went on to have two children together, Josef and Christianne and they even became grandparents to Timothy, Emma and Corrine.
