Malta’s ancient history features in stunning vid by Tokyo-based travel magazine

When the world is your oyster, you are free to explore the earth’s every curve but for one popular Japanese actor, Malta’s charm was too alluring to resist: “There are many places I want to visit but Malta is the first,” says Yosuke Kubozuka.

The actor and musician starred in a short two-minute film about the ancient civilisations in Malta which toured the Mnajdra and Hagar Qim temples as well as included some breath-taking shots of Valletta and Malta’s seascapes. The clip was produced by Adventure King, a Tokyo-based travel magazine.

Yosuke explains his reasons for his trip to Malta in the video: “I’m here because it might help me to rediscover really important things I’ve lost and forgotten in my life,” he says, adding that people lived closer together back then.

The actor also took to his personal Instagram account to share his heartfelt appreciation for Malta when filming occurred almost three months ago: “Good bye Malta. See you soon.I hope come back in summer time,” he wrote.
