Visitors planning a trip to southern Malta this week are advised to take note of an important schedule update from Heritage Malta.

Tomorrow, on Wednesday 25th February, the remarkable temples at Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park will be closing earlier than usual due to a scheduled event. The archaeological park will close its doors at 3.00pm, with the last admission taking place at 2.00pm.

Visitors are therefore encouraged to plan their visit accordingly to ensure they have enough time to fully experience these extraordinary prehistoric sites.

Perched dramatically on Malta’s southern coast, Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra are among the world’s oldest free-standing stone structures, dating back over 5,000 years. Their impressive megalithic architecture and breathtaking sea views make them a must-see destination for locals and tourists alike.

Have you ever visited these magnificent temples in Malta?
