This coming weekend, between the 2nd and 4th June one of Malta’s most long-awaited festivals, Eart Garden is being organised at Ta’ Qali.
In order to tackle the high demand of people travelling to and from such a festival, Malta’s public transport system is introducing a special service for the weekend.
To get to the festival you can opt for the following and already existing routes:
Route 186 –
Departs from Bugibba and stops in Ta’ Qali.
Frequency: Every 30 minutes.
Route 56 –
Departs from Valletta and stops in Ta’ Qali.
Frequency: Every one hour.
Route 202 –
Departs from Pembroke, passes through St. Julian’s & Sliema and stops in Ta’ Qali.
Frequency: Every one hour.
Other options available –
Route 51/52/53/X3/181/182
Pass frequently through Mdina Rd.
To get back home from the Festival, you can opt from any of the following special service routes:
TQ1 (North Malta Route) –
Departs from Ta’ Qali and stops in Rabat, Mosta, Naxxar, St Paul’s Bay, Buġibba, Qawra
TQ2 (Central Malta Route) –
Departs from Ta’ Qali and stops in Lija, Birkirkara Bypass, San Ġwann, St Julian’s, Sliema, Valletta
TQ3 (Southeast Malta Route) –
Departs from Ta’ Qali and stops in Attard, Balzan, B’Kara, Ħamrun, Paola, Cottonera, Żabbar, Fgura, Tarxien, Żejtun, Birzebbuġa
TQ4 (Southwest Malta Route) –
Departs from Ta’ Qali and stops in Żebbug, Qormi, Marsa P&R, Luqa, Kirkop, Safi, Żurrieq.
They will all be leaving the festival at 11:15pm, 12:15am, 1:15am and 2:15am
