Malta Police Force increases street patrols after new measures implemented
Malta is levelling up its Coronavirus efforts

Following yesterday’s announcement of legal repercussions for those caught breaking social distancing rules, Malta’s police force has been out patrolling various areas across Malta and Gozo since early this morning to make sure the law is being followed.

The Malta Police Force Facebook page posted images of police on duty today and urged the public to follow health and legal directives: “Inspections are set to continue throughout the day across Malta & Gozo. Help us flatten the curve together – Observe the Regulations & Ensure your Safety and that of Others,” read the post.
