A site as large as 12,000sqm on Wied id-Dis between Madliena and Għargħur has just entered the market for the price of €1.7 million.

The area that is being sold is situated right below the Madliena Bridge and is home to a traditional girna, a pond, a reservoir, mature trees and passageways.

The property has long been a popular area for hiking and countryside walks, but even though such activities were somewhat tolerated, the site has always been private.

It was listed with the real estate firm ‘Alliance’, which has described it as an “astonishing land” and a “rare find beautifully located in the most desirable part of Madliena”.

It has “excellent potential to be converted into a most desirable countryside escape, away from all noise pollution, and with more than 11 tumoli of land to enjoy”, the listing continued.

Sources informed BusinessNow.mt that the site has officially gone on sale after it was passed down to heirs who are not interested in using it.
