Face masks have become a necessity as Malta gradually eases out of COVID-19 restrictions and local designers have unleashed their creativity on the protective garment.

Marco Parascandalo, as well as Charles Van Maarschalkerweerd Borg from Charles & Ron, both created beautiful designs in their trademark style.

Undoubtedly one of the more intricate face mask designs out there, Mary Grace Pisani from Cessani Fashion shared a picture of a white mask featuring an eight-pointed Maltese cross stitched in pearls.

Taking a more practical approach, designer Herman Vassallo shared details of a simple black mask aimed for universal wear.
