The anticipated International Kite & Wind Festival held every year at the picturesque village of Gharb in Gozo is set to take place once again this October.

During the festival, internationally renowned flyers gather all around the San Dimitri open fields to participate in this joyous activity while giving a feast for the eyes for all those who attend.

Seeing those colourful kites dancing in Malta’s sunny skies is truly an unforgettable experience!

The International Kite & Wind Festival will offer attendees the chance to discuss and reflect on the different kite flying traditions from all across the world.

Kite-making workshops, a children’s area, food and drink vendors, live music, a traditional fair, and more will all be organised for all the family to enjoy.

The festival will take place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October from 10am to 5:30pm. The date is however subject to change if the weather does not permit.

A shuttle service will be operating every 30 minutes from the main car park in Victoria to the festival at a cost of €1.50.
