The festival takes place every year at Gharb in Gozo.

The anticipated International Kite & Wind Festival held every year at the picturesque village of Gharb in Gozo is set to take place once again this October on the 19th and the 20th of the month. This will be the 7th edition of this popular festival.

During the festival, internationally renowned flyers, approximately 46 participants this year, gather all around the San Dimitri open fields to participate in this joyous activity while giving a feast for the eyes of all those who attend.

Seeing those colourful kites dancing in Malta’s sunny skies is truly an unforgettable experience!

The International Kite & Wind Festival will offer attendees the chance to discuss and reflect on the different kite-flying traditions from all across the world.

Kite-making workshops, a children’s area, food and drink vendors, live music, a traditional fair, and more will all be organised for the family to enjoy.

Will you be attending the International Kite & Wind Festival this year?

12th August 2024
