‘Just can’t believe it’ – tributes pour in as artist Ed Schembri passes away

Locals are mourning the loss of artist Ed Schembri who has shockingly passed away. Ed was a well-known artist and a “formidable” friend. Close friends have shared their tributes, memories and condolences for the man who created impeccable artwork.

“Till we meet again dear Ed Schembri. A true artist and a gentleman,” shares Peter Carbonaro. “Used to love our conversations about art and everything. Your masterpieces will live forever.”

David Thake also shared a message remembering Ed. “I cannot believe the news that Ed Schembri has passed away. I am completely in shock and disbelief. My heart goes out to his family.”

“RIP Ed. Just can’t believe it,” ALS activist Bjorn Formosa says, sharing a photo of the two of them. “Utterly shocked! Love you man! You were surely one of the most talented artists that I have ever met. Strieh fis-sliem, MAESTRO!
