The 15th edition of Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem will conclude at the end of this week with the ‘Adoration of the Magi’ event, marking the end of this year’s nativity village celebrations. As part of this tradition, the Magi will embark on a journey visiting various towns and landmarks during the Epiphany weekend.

On Saturday, January 4th, the Three Kings will begin their journey at San Anton Palace, paying a visit to H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta. Their itinerary will include stops at Corradino Correctional Facility in Paola and Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi. Later that day, they will travel to Qormi, visiting San Bastjan Parish Church and St George Parish Church.

The celebrations continue on Sunday, January 6th, the day of Epiphany. Starting at 9 AM in Mgarr, Malta, the Magi will proceed to Mellieha, visiting the Home for the Elderly and meeting King Herod in the town’s main square. The journey then takes them to Cirkewwa, where they’ll cross to Gozo, arriving in Mgarr at around 3 PM. Stops in Gozo include St Joseph Home for the Elderly and Arka.

Their final destination will be Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem, where the Three Kings will ceremoniously present gifts to Baby Jesus, bringing the beloved nativity event to a close. This year’s edition once again attracted thousands of visitors, as the enduring charm and spirit of this unique Maltese tradition lives on.
