After a one-year hiatus (thanks, COVID), one of Malta’s biggest rock concerts is back with a vengeance!

With artistic director Paul Borg Bonaci and musical director Sigmund Mifsud at its helm, the 12th edition of Rockestra - Times Like These, in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, is set to take place on Friday 3rd December at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali.

The concert will feature a huge line-up of local singers – we’re talking Ozzy Lino, the New Victorians, and Matthew James, amongst others – singing cover versions of some of the hottest rock hits out there.

Rockestra will also feature the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, which will be expertly directed by the concert’s very own musical director, Sigmund Mifsud.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, organisers announced that this year’s rendition of Rockestra will be held with a fully seated audience. All attendees must present a vaccine certificate.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased from showshappening.com.

Rock on!
