Theatrical production ‘Is-snin li tħoss’ will be returning to the stage for one night only 8th June, this time in Malta’s sister island.

The show will be performed at ‘Studio’, Santa Luċija, Gozo at 8pm.

The one-woman show, which already had a successful run in February, is performed by veteran stage and screen actress Clare Agius and directed by Toni Attard.

‘Is-snin li tħoss’: One-woman show starring Maltese actress Claire Agius to return to the stage

‘Is-snin li tħoss’ examines a series of moments and rites of passage that have the power to shape our identity as we navigate through life.

Written by Haley McGee and translated by Clare Azzopardi, the production tells the story of one person’s life from their 25th birthday until the end.

Inspired by real life interviews, the play wrestles with endless chances to change course while we’re alive and the joys and tragedies of getting older.

The format of ‘Is-snin li tħoss’ is unique as the audience is invited to randomly choose which six out of 12 stories will be heard.

The six stories that are not chosen will remain untold, serving as a reminder that certain things will remain unknown, even to those closest to us.

Therefore, the re-run of the show is a good opportunity for those who have already watched it to discover stories that weren’t told in the February run.

The production has already received rave reviews in its last run and was described as “an unmissable production,” “an exceptional monologue,” and “a production brimming with wisdom.”
